The BR16 radiation meter can detect microwave emissions from all radio frequency equipment operating in the 2.45 GHz ISM band. And there are a few: The microwave oven in the household, various mobile phone networks, wireless video transmission systems, WLAN, Bluetooth, in some cases also various radio transmitters, remote controls or cordless DECT telephones. Whether it is a leaking microwave oven, WLAN router, mobile phone or transmission mast - with the BR16, harmful microwave radiation can be reliably detected and shown as a digital indication value on the easy-to-read display. If the detected value is above the ICNIRP maximum limit of 5 mW/cm², the BR16 radiation meter automatically alerts the user with an acoustic warning signal and additional warning indication on the display.
